What We Actually Use
This site keeps things deliberately simple. The cookies always in use are strictly functional:
- WordPress core cookies, used only for logged-in administrator access to manage the site, not set for ordinary visitors.
- Hosting and performance cookies, set by our hosting provider’s caching and security systems, needed to serve the site quickly and securely.
What We Don’t Use
Advertising and Measurement
If, and only if, you press Accept on our cookie banner, we load the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta that you visited this site, and whether you went on to submit our enquiry form. We use that solely to measure whether our own advertising is working, and to avoid showing ads to people who have already been in touch.
If you press Decline, or ignore the banner, the pixel is never loaded and no advertising cookies are set. The site works identically either way. Your choice is stored in a cookie on your own device for six months, and you can change it by clearing your cookies for this site.
Meta acts as a separate data controller for the information it receives. Their own privacy policy is at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Managing Cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking all cookies may affect some site functionality, though this site should work normally without them for ordinary browsing.
